Éditions Fayard announces new appointments

Lise Boëll, CEO of Éditions Fayard, has appointed an expanded management team to support the company's development.

Jérôme Laissus has been promoted to Managing Director of Éditions Fayard.

Having played an active role in the company’s development over the course of more than two decades at Éditions Fayard, Jérôme Laissus will be the person best suited to continuing the publisher’s growth, together with its talented teams.

Estelle Cerutti has been appointed Managing Director of Éditions Mazarine and Deputy Managing Director in charge of publishing at Éditions Fayard.

An editor with a wealth of experience at leading publishing houses, Estelle Cerutti will put all her expertise and talent into the success of Éditions Fayard and Mazarine and their authors.

These appointments take effect today.


Biographical information:

Jérôme Laissus began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen before joining the Hachette Livre group in 1991, where he held a number of different positions, in the literature sales department, at Éditions JC Lattès, at Éditions Hazan, and later in the Group management department. He joined Éditions Fayard in 2002 and held the position of General Manager, Finance and Administration until today’s appointment.

Estelle Cerutti began her career in 1996 at the publishing house Albin Michel, where she held various positions before being appointed Department Director in 2021. She went on to join the Editis group, serving as Deputy Managing Director at Éditions Plon from 2021 to 2023, before becoming Deputy Managing Director of Éditions Mazarine at the Hachette Livre group in 2024.
