Next stop: Lusitania !
Two years after the release of Asterix and the White Iris, Asterix and Obelix return for new adventures on October 23rd. On this occasion, the two friends embark on their 25th journey, heading to a sunny land — Lusitania.
One beautiful spring morning, a stranger appears in the Gaulish village. He’s from Lusitania, the sun-drenched land to the west of Hispania, which is also under the Roman Empire’s thumb. This former slave, who first featured in The Mansions of the Gods, has come to ask our indomitable Gauls for help because he knows about the Magic Potion and its powerful effects. And so begins another adventure for Asterix and Obelix!
An International Launch
This new album is the second collaboration between writer Fabcaro and cartoonist Didier Conrad.
With a print run of 5 million copies worldwide and simultaneous publication in 19 languages and dialects, it promises to be the must-read event of the year’s end for comic book fans.
Over 65 Years of Gaulish Adventures
Created in 1959 by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, the adventures of Asterix have enjoyed extraordinary global success. It is, in fact, the most translated comic book series in the world.
