Hachette Livre announces the appointment of Lise Boëll as Managing Director of Mazarine

Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hachette Livre, has appointed Lise Boëll as Managing Director of Mazarine. Lise Boëll's career has been guided by her commitment to the democratization of literature and diversity, and she will be responsible for developing Mazarine's catalogue of fiction and non-fiction books.

Background:

Lise Boëll started her career at the television channel TF1. In 1997, she joined the publisher Albin Michel, where she rose to the role of Editorial Director and published many bestsellers. She went on to serve as Managing Director of Plon, an Editis imprint, from 2021 to 2023. Over the course of over 30 years, Lise Boëll has guided, advised and published more than 400 authors in a wide variety of genres – novels, non-fiction, children’s books, essays and more – including successes such as Dora the Explorer, Les Yeux dans les bleus, Le meilleur médicament, c’est vous by Frédéric Saldmann, La Clé de votre énergie by Natacha Calestrémé, Confessions by Abbé Pierre, Secrets d’histoire by Stéphane Bern, 682 jours by Roselyne Bachelot, L’insolence des miracles by Didier Van Cauwelaert, François Lenglet, Philippe de Villiers, Alain Corbin, Éric Zemmour, Les Guignols de l’info, Jamel Debbouze, Julie Andrieu, and more.
