Azbooka-Atticus is the number-two publishing group in the Russian trade fiction market. Hachette Livre has been a shareholder since 2011 and now holds a 49% interest in the company, which has several imprints: Azbooka and Inostranka for general fiction, Colibri for illustrated works, and Machaon for the children’s and young adult segments. It publishes a large number of titles annually in a wide variety of fields. Its general literature features the celebrated Azbooka-Klassika collection of classics by writers such as Nabokov and Solzhenitsyn, as well as contemporary Russian authors and translations of works by Patrick Modiano, Jojo Moyes, Cecelia Ahern, Marc Levy, Jo Nesbø, Gillian Flynn and Amélie Nothomb. Azbooka-Atticus also publishes lifestyle books including major names in cooking, such as Gordon Ramsay, and adult coloring books (Johanna Basford).
Its nonfiction list is quite prestigious as well, featuring international authors including Antony Beevor and Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
In children’s and young adult literature, it publishes works for every segment of the market, including the Harry Potter saga and renowned authors like Enid Blyton, Tove Jansson and Astrid Lindgren.
