Fiction / non fiction

Reading novels, short stories, poetry, memoirs, essays and historical narratives is one leisure activity common to all developed societies. As vehicles for values, beliefs, traditions and taste, such works define our culture, shape our frame of reference and resonate with the existential and mundane questions we, as a community or as individuals, ask of ourselves. That is why Hachette Livre, fully aware of the specific role and weight of this editorial segment, and of the particular environment it takes for talent to thrive, is dedicated to giving publishers the means to grow their business while preserving their literary heritage and editorial independence.
